LVMH’s Kendo division has inked a deal with Rihanna—to develop and launch the singer’s own makeup brand. The name will be Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. The company is planning for a Fall 2017 launch date.

The article in WWD stated, “Estimates of what LVMH may have paid to make the deal run as high as $10 million.”

David Suliteanu, chief executive officer of Kendo, told the publication, “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” he said. “We are aiming for the stars.”

Rihanna will also continue her relationship with Parlux, which has developed her 7 fragrances.

Kendo is also responsible for the Kat Von D Beauty, Formula X nail polish, and Marc Jacobs Beauty lines. Since both feature exciting packaging in terms of design, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for Fenty. Follow the news of the line’s development using the hashtag #FentyBeauty on social media.
